New Picnic Settings for War Nurses Park

20150601_13002320150601_13004320150601_1301113 new picinic settings were installed yesterday at War Nurses Memorial Park, Bundaberg.

The settings were donated by the Bundaberg & District Ex Servicewomen’s Association and is the final element of their Remembering Our War Nurses project, commemorating the Anzac Centenary.

Nursing Storyboards installed at War Nurses Memorial Park

The history storyboards: Nurses – Zululand to Afghanistan have been installed at War Nurses Memorial Park, Bundaberg and represent the final element in the Bundaberg & District Ex Servicewomen’s Association’s project to revitalize and enhance the memorial park to mark the Centenary of the First World War.

New Australian Service Nurses Memorial Wall update

Today the bronze signs and commemorative plaques are attached to the memorial wall.

All ready for the official unveiling and dedication on 24th September 2014 at War Nurses Memorial Park, cnr Bourbong and Takalvan Streets, Bundaberg. Service commences at 0900



Our last and major fundraising activity is now underway, it is an Art Union raffle with all proceeds going towards our enhancement project at War Nurses Memorial Park, Bundaberg

Tickets are $2 each, and prizes include 3 dozen bottles of wine, a mystery bus trip for 2, a collectible bear dressed as a nurse and gift baskets.
